Elizabeth A. Lunsford, 79, widow of James Lunsford of 133 Ben Black Road Union, died Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2007 at her home.

Mrs. Lunsford was born in Santuc on Dec.14, 1927, a daughter of the late Nim Austin and Arzie Peafuff Austin. She was retired from Milliken & Co., Midway Plant, and was a member of Fairforest Baptist Church.

Surviving are two daughters, Pat Cantrell and husband Jim of Union, and Joyce Bradford and husband, Curt of Charleston; two sisters, Minnie Knox and Gladys Henderson; two brothers, Doug Austin and Fant Austin, all of Union; grandchildren, Christina and Mike Earl, Jason and Renee Bradford, Kim and Jason Inabinet, Heather and Jimmy Tyson; and six great- grandchildren, Harrison, Anna, Jake, Jimmy, Emma, and Mia.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 5, 2007, at Fairforest Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Dr. Aulbrey Calvert and the Rev. Curt Bradford. Burial will be in Rosemont Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Devon Henderson, Dennis Henderson, Kendall Austin, Donnie Puckett, the Rev. Joey Shetley and Joel Candler.

Visitation will be from 6 until 8 this evening, Thursday, Oct. 4, 2007, at S.R. Holcombe Funeral Home.

The family is at the home, 133 Ben Black Road, Union.
