Senior basketball player TJ Jeter stepped up for the Jackets last week in all three games. Though Union County lost to York on Monday, Jeter tallied 17 points to lead the Jackets in scoring. Jeter was also the leading scorer in Thursday night’s contest with Spartanburg Christian, putting up 10 points. His most impressive night, however, was on Friday at Laurens where Jeter lit it up from all over the court, tallying 24 points for the Jackets.
Senior basketball player Andrea Eison had an impressive week for the Lady Jackets. Eison handles the ball with ease and contributes many assists for the Jackets, who won all three road games last week. Eison is also a shooting threat, especially if left alone at three point range. In Friday night’s match up with Laurens, Eison hit a buzzer beater for three points to win the game.
