The USC Union CARES — Community Awareness and Renewing the Environment through Service — team is pitching in to raise funds for wounded warrior Kevin Brewington.

USCU CARES will sponsor a cornhole tournament at 3 p.m. Saturday in Truluck Gym, located on the USC Union campus. The registration fee for the tournament is $10 per person or $20 per team. Teams who were unable to register in advance will be able to do so on Saturday.

USCU CARES will also sell hot dogs, chips, drinks and baked goods to raise funds at the event.

John Crocker — Career Transfers Counselor — said USCU CARES as a group is appreciative of the local businesses who donated to the cause. Those businesses include Dairi-O, Food Lion, Sweets Coffee and Cream, Kirby’s Cake Shoppe and Lockhart Cafe.

For more information about Saturday’s cornhole tournament or about USCU CARES, contact John Crocker at (864) 429-8728.
