A Buffalo man was arrested for allegedly attacking a woman two nights in a row.
Ronnie Clay Frost, 47, 209 Buffalo St., Buffalo, is charged by the sheriff’s office with assault and battery third-degree.
The incident report states deputies were dispatched Tuesday night to Frost’s residence to a man and a woman arguing and possibly fighting in front of the building. The victim said Frost had assaulted her Monday night and again on Tuesday after he got home from work. She said Frost was upset and wanted her out of the house and she’d refused, telling him he would have to evict her. The woman said Frost had choked her and threw her to the floor and kicked her in the face Monday night. She said Tuesday evening he’d threatened her and grabbed her around the neck trying to throw her out of the house.
The report states the victim had a black eye which the deputy photographed. The victim was also issued a victims form and her verbal statement had been recorded on the recording system in the deputy’s patrol car.
Frost was placed under arrest and transported to jail.
Another Assault And Battery
A Union man ended up in jail for allegedly hitting and repeatedly biting a man.
William Howard Mitchell, 18, 216 Monarch Highway, Union, is charged by the sheriff’s office with consumption of alcohol by a person under 21 and assault and battery.
The incident report states a deputy was dispatched Monday night to 229 Fairmont St. in reference to an assault. The complainant said Mitchell had assaulted her son while he was on Mill Street. The deputy went to the intersection of Mill and Short streets where he spoke with a group of female juveniles. They said they’d observed a fight between Mitchell and the victim in the field next to 114 Mill St. They said that Mitchell had started the fight.
The deputy then went to 114 Mill St. where he found Mitchell and another male in the back yard. The report states the deputy noticed Mitchell appeared to be under the influence of alcohol. It describes Mitchell as being unsteady on his feet with slurred speech and smelling of an alcoholic beverage.
Mitchell told the deputy he’d been speaking to the victim when the victim hit him in the head with a bottle for no apparent reason then tried to leave. He said he’d chased the victim with a chair as he’d attempted to leave.
The report states the deputy could find no apparent injuries on Mitchell. He then placed Mitchell under arrest for consumption of alcohol by a person under 21. At the jail, Mitchell took a Datamaster test and registered a blood alcohol content of .14.
After transporting Mitchell to jail, the deputy returned 229 Fairmont St. where the victim told him he and Mitchell had got into an argument. He said Mitchell had hit him, and as he tried to get away Mitchell had tackled him and bit him on the chest, left ear and left leg.
The deputy the photographed the bite mark on the right side of the victim’s chest and the wounds to his left ear and left leg. He also issued the victim’s a victim’s form.
Mitchell was later charged with assault and battery.

Juan Antonio Mendoza, 39, 1662 Home Circle, Lancaster, charged Tuesday with having no South Carolina driver’s license.
Jennifer Nicole McFalls, 37, 104 Johns St., Union, charged Tuesday with public intoxication.
Holly Michelle Jones, 49, 209 Buffalo St., Buffalo, charged Tuesday with public intoxication.
Matthew Dillion Scott West, 18, 210 Youngblood St., Jonesville, charged Saturday with petit larceny.
