SPARTANBURG — Auditions for the Spartanburg Little Theatre’s production of the hilarious new comedy, Alfred Hitchcock’s “The 39 Steps”, will be held on Sept. 12 and 13 from 7-9 p.m. in the West Wing Conference Room at the Chapman Cultural Center. The production will run from Nov. 4-13, and will be directed by veteran director John Fagan.

Roles are available for three adult males (late 20s to 40s) and one adult female (late 20s to 40s). Auditions will consist of readings from the script.

Hitchcock meets “Hilarious” in this madcap comic thriller, a juicy spy story mixed with a dash of Monty Python mayhem. Four ridiculously talented actors will take on over 150 roles in a plot packed with intrigue, international danger, an on-stage plane crash, old-fashioned romance, high-spirited comedy and a death-defying finale!

Rehearsals will begin immediately after casting. Production dates are Nov. 4, 5, 6, 11, 12 and 13, 2011.
