A hearing will be held Friday morning for former Union County clerk of court Brad Morris.
The Sixteenth Circuit Solicitor’s Office announced Thursday afternoon that a hearing would be held for Morris before Judge Lee S. Alford of York in the main courtroom of the Union County Courthouse. No further details were provided about the hearing which is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m.
Morris, who resigned as clerk of court in Oct. 2009, surrendered to SLED agents investigating his case in November of that year. He is charged with misconduct in office and embezzlement of public funds. Shortly after turning himself in, Morris was released on $30,000 bond.
