The Union County Health Department will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony for its new teen waiting room Monday, Aug. 1, at 1 p.m.
Elizabeth McArthur, public information coordinator for SCDHEC Public Health Region 2, said the room features a mural painted by local artist Katie Hammett who will be attending the event.
The health department is located at 115 Thomas St., Union.
