The Union County Carnegie Library is pleased to announce Tom Crabtree of WSPA-TV will speak at the Library on July 26 at 7:30 p.m. as the Adult Summer Reading Program comes to a close.

Free computer training classes: Union County Carnegie Library; 10-11:30 a.m. Class size is limited to 12 so you must register by calling 864-427-7140, ext. 105.

Read or listen to any book of your choice through July 29 and have a chance to win a prize. Drawings for prizes will be held every week. All you need do is get an entry form at the library, write the book title, name of the author and a comment of what you think of the book. Return your entry form to the library (deadline is July 23). Every time you read another book and submit your entry you get another chance to win. You must be 18 years or older to participate

July 11 — Teen’s Taste Testing Contest — Ages 12-17: 4-6 p.m.

July 14 — Teen’s Native American Event — Ages 12-17 Time: 3-5 p.m.

July 19 — Afternoon English Tea Party Ages 5-12: 2-4 p.m. Call Ms. Cindy to sign up, 864-427-7140, ext. 302.

July 21 — K-2nd grade students — Come have fun building with blocks. 1-2 p.m.
