CLINTON — George William “Uncle Bo” Lemon, son of the late Arthur Lemon and the late Ella Means Lemon, was born June 6, 1938 in Union County. He entered into eternal rest on Monday, June 13, 2011 at Laurens County Hospital.
“Uncle Bo” attended Seekwell Baptist Church until he moved to Clinton, SC as a resident of Whitten Center.
Those to celebrate his life and share loving memories include his two sisters, Mildred L. Lyles of Union and Josie B. Davis of Whitmire; one sister-in-law, Mary H. Lemon; one brother-in-law, Aaron Davis; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and caring friends.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, June 17, 2011 at 1 p.m. at Seekwell Baptist Church in Whitmire, SC.
Visitation is Thursday from 4 p.m.-7 p.m. at Hunter Funeral Home, Whitmire.
The family is at the home of his niece, Brenda Perry, 1299 Maybinton Road, Whitmire.
Hunter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
