AMERICAN LEGION POST 22 will meet at the Legion Hut at 120 Scenic Drive at 6 p.m. A meal will be served, with voluntary contributions appreciated. At 6:30., instead of a guest speaker, members will give a short synopsis about themselves and their military service; business meeting at 7. Veterans interested in becoming members are always welcome. No regular meeting is scheduled for July.

SHAGGING LESSONS will be taught by Ballet Spartanburg at the Chapman Cultural Center on Mondays throughout the summer, starting June 20. Class starts at 7 p.m. and is open to both individuals and couples with no experience necessary. For costs and to register call 583-0339.

THE BUFFALO FIRE DEPARTMENT’S James H. Hampton Scholarship will be awarded to a recipient living in the BVFD Service Area. This scholarship is available to a high school senior or adult seeking an advanced degree which may be pursued at a technical school, college, or university.
