Union County falls 4-2 in AAA state championship game

SUMTER -- St. James tops Union County 4-2 in the final and deciding game of the AAA baseball state championship at Riley Park at USC-Sumter on Saturday.

The Yellow Jackets scored two runs in the second inning but the Sharks answered with three runs in the bottom of the third inning to take the lead.

St. James added another run in the bottom of the third frame.
