Union County 11, Greenville 4
Union County’s baseball team advances to Friday’s AAA Upper State championship after defeating Greenville 11-4 on the road.
The Yellow Jackets homered five times to power past the Red Raiders in the AAA Upper State baseball tournament. Union County’s Ricky Rice earned the win on the mound.
Union County stays on the road as they take on Eastside and will need to defeat the Eagles twice to move on to next week’s AAA state championship.

Union County 3
Union County’s softball team rallied in the seventh inning but fell short in an elimination game at Daniel. The Lady Jackets lost 4-3 vs. the Lions in the AAA Upper State softball tournament.
