BUFFALO — Thomas Eugene "Tuck" McCall, 53, husband of Sharon Vinson McCall died Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2009 at Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System.

Mr. McCall was born in Union, Oct. 29, 1955, a son of Thomas J. McCall and Jeanette Lawson McCall of Union. He was employed with the City of Union Utility Department and was of the Methodist faith. Mr. McCall was a member of Union Masonic Lodge #75; an avid motorcyclist and enjoyed fishing.

Surviving in addition to his wife and parents are a daughter, Jennifer Ashley McCall of Spartanburg; a son, Josh Tabbot McCall; a stepson, Michael Lee Duncan and wife Brooke; a brother, Timothy A. McCall and wife Joanne all of Union; five grandchildren: Rabecka McCall, Evan McCall, Alexis Duncan, Ashely Duncan and Araina Duncan and a Pug grand-dog, "Louie."

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 10, 2009, at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Chapel conducted by the Rev. Terry Mitchell. Burial will be in Union Memorial Gardens with Masonic Rites.

Active pallbearers will be Josh McCall, Michael Duncan, Lee Shropshire, Billy Vinson, Donnie Vinson and Michael Calvert. Employees of the City of Union Utility Crew Gas and Water Department are asked to sit in a group.

Memorials may be made to the National Brain Tumor Society, East Coast Office, 124 Watertown Street, Suite 20, Watertown, Ma. 02472.

Visitation will be held from 7-9 p.m. Friday at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Home.

The family is at the home, 122 Summer Valley Road, Buffalo and also at the home of his parents, Thomas and Jeanette McCall, 216 5th St., Ottaray Community, Union, SC 29379.
