The Yellow Jackets gave a little bit extra for Wednesday’s road win vs. Rock Hill. Union County scored two runs in the eight inning to take a 7-6 victory vs. the Bearcats in extra innings.
Dylan Rogers pitched seven strong innings for UCHS striking out seven batters and staying perfect this season with his fourth win.
Jake Walton came on relief to pick up a save in the eighth frame. Union County improves to 13-1 overall and 3-1 in Region III-3A play.
The Jackets face Lewisville on Friday.
