The King of Rock and Roll was at Ellen Sagar Nursing Home on Monday and, as always, the king wowed his subjects. Elvis Tribute Artist Rick Wade brought the legendary superstar to life for the residents of the nursing home with renditions of such classic songs as “Hound Dog,” “Blue Suede Shoes,” “Don’t Be Cruel,” and “Amazing Grace,” just to mention a few. The performance was arranged by the nursing home at the request of the residents and staff. During his performance, Elvis sang to both the crowd and to individual fans such as Ellen Sagar residents Loree Robinson and Betty Cagle and to Jean Jackson who came all the way from Spartanburg for the show.
