Ms. Knox was born in Union, SC May 31, 1945, a daughter of the late Herman Seay and Ollie Ruth Queen Seay. She was retired from Conso Products and was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy.
Surviving are three sons, James L. Knox Jr. and wife Deanna of Buffalo, Ernest A. Knox of Cross Keys and John W. Knox of the home; a sister, Catherine Seay; a brother, Donnie Seay, both of Buffalo; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Ms. Knox was predeceased by a brother, Gene Seay.
Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, January 16, 2011 at Union Memorial Gardens conducted by Pastor Linda Padgett.
Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. Saturday evening at the SR Holcombe Funeral Home.
