Four men were honored by the Buffalo Fire Department at its annual Christmas suppper held at the fire station on the Bailey Road on Dec. 4, with awards recognizing their achievements in 2010. Fire Chief Ernest Crocker presented Kenneth Proctor with the Lester Zimmerman Award for his dedication and service to the department as well as the community; Frank Humphries with the Buffalo Fire Department's 2010 Honorary Firefighter of the Year for his dedicated service to the department; Chris Boulware with the Buffalo Fire Department's 2010 Chief's Award for his outstanding dedication as training officer to the department; and Dave Proctor with the Buffalo Fire Department Firefighter of the Year Award for 2010 for his outstanding service and professionalism as a firefighter.
