Mark was born May 14, 1961, a son of the late Arthur Pearson and Margaret Burns Lankford. He attended the public schools in Union County.
Mark was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church.
Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Margaret Burns Lankford and one brother, Stacy Pearson.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
The Lewis Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
