Union County High School senior Kelsey Harris defeated her opponent Wednesday. Harris and the Yellow Jackets prepare for the state playoffs to begin next week.

The Lady Jackets' tennis team played their final regular season match Thursday and defeated Clover 5-1.
'I'm really happy with the way we played this match. It was a good warm up for the playoffs," Union County High School Head Coach Kelly Jenkins said. "We had scrimmaged Clover in the preseason and didn't play so well. I think that shows the improvement we have made over the season."
Union County will begin state tournament play Thursday, the opponent is to be determined later.
Since the Jackets won the region title, they will host their match at the high school's tennis courts.
