Kindergarten: The second first day of school

UNION COUNTY — The second first day of the 2014-2015 school year began Wednesday morning with the arrival of kindergarten students at the Union County School District’s five elementary schools.Monday was the first day of school for students in the first through 12th grades, but the new school year didn’t begin for 5K students until Wednesday and many elementary schools had special events to help get the day off to a good start for both the students and their parents.
