UNION — Mrs. Barbara Rippy was presented with a Union County Cornerstone Award during the Union County Council meeting on April 8, 2014.Mrs. Rippy was originally scheduled to receive the award during the presentation ceremony held in November 2013, in which she and the Rev. A.L. Brackett were honored, but medical issues prevented her attendance. The plaque presented to Mrs. Rippy is on display with the other recipients of the award on the Cornerstone Wall located outside of the Probate Office in the Union County Courthouse.
