Students return to school

UNION COUNTY — The first day of the 2014-2015 school year saw students from first grade through high school seniors return to school Monday morning.Students arrived by bus or by car and some who lived near their schools walked there, often accompanied by a parent. In some cases parents went into their children’s school with their children to get information at the office and/or to take them to class. In other cases, students headed into school from the bus or their family car on their own, usually being greeted by members of the school staff and in some cases their fellow students.While many students headed straight to class, others began the school day with breakfast in their school’s cafeteria.

 

County qualifies for USDA emergency loans
