‘Person of interest’ sought in missing person case

UNION — The Union Public Safety Department is currently investigating a report of a missing adult.The missing man is Raymond Davis, 61, of 902 Union Blvd., Union.Davis was reported missing by a relative who was concerned about his welfare due to a report that he had been in an argument with his step-son. The relative and Public Safety Officers went to Davis’ residence and inspected the premises. During the inspection, it was determined that foul play may be a factor.The Union Public Safety Department is seeking Davis’s step-son, Travelle Lamar Burros, 41, of 902 Union Blvd., Union, whom the department has named as a “person of interest.”

 

SCC to hold job fair for part-time faculty

SPARTANBURG — Spartanburg Community College (SCC) will hold a job fair to recruit qualified part-time faculty members and provide an opportunity for job seekers to meet with SCC’s hiring managers. The job fair will be held on Thursday, April 24, from 4-6p.m. at SCC’s central campus in Spartanburg.SCC is seeking part-time faculty from various educational backgrounds and experience for future vacancies with the college.
