The power of grace

In the face of the lures of the world, the flesh, and the devil, human beings are practically powerless to resist the seductive lure of evil. There is, however, a power far greater than that of Satan and his worldly allies and that is the saving power of Jesus Christ and the grace that comes with accepting Him as your Lord and Savior. The grace that comes through the salvation provided only by Christ is, however, not a license to indulge in sinful behavior, but the power to resist the temptation of sin. By leaning on Christ and Christ alone and placing all our trust in Him we receive that grace which enables us to live the life that He wants us to live.

The defining difference
The foundation of the Christian faith is the Resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ on Easter morning. That foundation is the defining difference between Christianity and world's other religions. Like Christ, Buddha, Confucius, and Muhammad all died, but unlike Him they remain dead. Christianity is the only religion whose founder not only founded a religion but remains a living and vital part of it, concerned and involved every day in the lives of His followers and those who have yet to answer His call to become His followers.
