Empty cross, empty tomb

The cross on which He died is empty, but so is the tomb in which His lifeless body was placed. Jesus Christ died for our sins, but more importantly He triumphed over death to continue bringing hope and eternal salvation to those for whom He died. Easter is the celebration of the empty cross and, more importantly, the empty tomb, both of which testify to Christ's love for us and His power to triumph over death so that we might know life everlasting with Him.

Christ loves us so much that He not only gave His life on the cross, He triumphed over death for us.
