Avoiding payday
None of us would ever thinking about leaving our place of employment without collecting the money we're owed on payday. There is, however, one payday and one set of wages we should never want to show up for. That's the payday when the wages of sin are paid for and the price of getting those wages is an eternity without Jesus Christ. For those who have decided to follow Him, Jesus has already paid the wages of their sin and spared them that most terrible of paydays.
