Once an Eagle always an Eagle

Dr. Natasha Jeter visited Foster Park students recently. She talked not only about her profession, but expressed the importance of staying in school and doing their best. Dr. Jeter attended Foster Park Elementary during her elementary school years. She asked the children to choose a profession that they really enjoy because it takes dedication and hard work to achieve goals. Students lined up as Dr. Jeter asked them what they want to do when they grow up. Some of the chosen professions included: veterinarian, doctor, lawyer, policeman, football player and army career. Dr. Jeter’s accomplishments were especially encouraging and inspiring to the students since she grew up and attended school at Foster Park Elementary School. Dr. Jeter is a classic example of how working hard and staying positive can help you reach your dreams. Dr. Natasha Jeter is a wonderful example of a” Foster Park Eagle” flying away and achieving a successful career. We at Foster Park are proud that she started her journey here.

None of us would ever thinking about leaving our place of employment without collecting the money we're owed on payday. There is, however, one payday and one set of wages we should never want to show up for. That's the payday when the wages of sin are paid for and the price of getting those wages is an eternity without Jesus Christ. For those who have decided to follow Him, Jesus has already paid the wages of their sin and spared them that most terrible of paydays.
