The Union Public Safety Department reported the following arrests:
— Timothy Dean Gault Jr., 25, of 141 Oak Grove Drive, Union, was charged with petit larceny around 5 p.m. on May 2. According to the arrest warrant, Gault took a flat screen TV from the NCO Club at the Union National Guard Armory between March 5-27.
— Christina Lynn Prince, 25, of 104 Bailey St., Union, was charged with threatening a public employee around 10:29 a.m. on May 2. According to the arrest warrant, Prince made verbal threats to an employee of Union County DSS while at the DSS office.
— Thomas Worthy, 55, of 104 Chambers Avenue, Union, was charged with disorderly conduct around 10:12 a.m. on May 2.
— Jerome Davis, 52, of 720 Lakeside Drive, Union, was charged with driving under suspension, open container, and possession of drug paraphernalia around 3:38 on May 2. According to the incident report, Davis was stopped for speeding, and officers could smell a strong odor of alcohol on him. He had an open beer, liquor bottle and a pipe with burn marks on both ends in his vehicle; and his driver’s license was suspended.
The Union Public Safety Department reported the following incident:
— Officers responded to Murphys USA, located at 309 Buffalo West Springs Highway, Union, on May 3 to find the glass entrance door shattered. When they shined flashlights into the store, the alarm began to sound but was not sounding on arrival. When the store manager arrived, surveillance footage was viewed, showing a subject wearing a white or gray hoodie walk up to the door at 2:38 a.m. and then walk away. The subject returned at 2:41 a.m. and broke the glass with what appeared to be a sledge hammer. The subject fled the scene and did not enter the building. The case was turned over to investigations.
