The Union County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests:
— Jaran Harris, 26, of 202 Buffalo St., Union, was charged with taking a vehicle without consent, failure to stop for a blue light, resisting arrest, and driving without a license around 1:12 a.m. on May 7. According to the incident report, Harris took a woman’s vehicle after being told not to; and when officers attempted to initiate a stop, he went about half a mile, turned into a driveway, hit a tree, and ran into the woods. Harris was tracked by a K-9 unit and transported to Union County Jail.
— Ronald Lee Napper, 27, of 1214 Linersville Road, Buffalo, was charged with breach of peace around 6:35 a.m. on May 6. According to the incident report, Napper was involved in a verbal dispute at his home, and when officers were called, he was “extremely belligerent.” Napper was transported to Union County Jail.
The Union County Sheriff’s Office reported the following incidents:
— A resident of Main Street, Buffalo, reported on May 6 that a white GMC work truck and tools were taken from his residence. The truck has a ladder rack on it with a steel ladder, steel, and PVC pipe. It also contained several tools including two Dewalt drills, a Sawz-All, a flashlight, three steel spades, a steel shovel, and a Dewalt case and charger for the drills. The truck and tools are valued at a total of $10,000.
— A resident of Eaves Road, Whitmire, reported on May 6 that a Harley-Davidson stereo was taken from his storage building between April 15-May 6. The stereo was valued at $400.
— A resident of West Spring Highway, Jonesville, reported on May 6 that she received a harassing phone call from a blocked number in reference to her deceased husband.
The Union Public Safety Department reported the following arrest:
— Louise Nicole Crocker, 21, 102 East Cogdill Plaza, Union, was charged with trespass after notice and simple possession of marijuana around 11:43 p.m. on May 6.
