Crime Report

The Union Public Safety Department reported the following arrests:

— Andre Dantina Jennings, 40, of 205 Carlisle Santuc School Road, Union, was charged with criminal domestic violence around 10:30 p.m. on Feb. 13. According to the arrest warrant, Jennings grabbed a woman by both forearms, leaving marks and scratches, while inside Food Lion, located at 320 North Duncan Bypass, Union, on June 16, 2012.

— Michael Hendrix Roberts, 48, of 148 Annie Drive, Union, and Justine Mae Owens, 48, of 203 Maple Street, Union, were each charged with criminal domestic violence around 7:05 p.m. on Feb. 13. According to the incident report, both parties hit each other in the face during an argument which took place at 203 Maple Street, Union.

— Jose Antonio Reyes Rodriguez, 28, of 321 North Third Street, Gaffney, was charged with driving without a license and speeding around 4:20 p.m. on Feb. 13.

The Union Public Safety Department reported the following incident:

— A student at Union County Adult Education reported on Feb. 11 that while in the restroom at the school, he took off his high school ring and left it on the sink while washing his face. He stated he went back to class and remembered the ring was left in the restroom about an hour later. When he returned to the restroom, the ring was gone. The ring was valued at $500. The investigation will continue.

The Union County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests:

— Daniel Rodelle Gallman, 24, of 175 Industrial Park Road, Union, was charged with possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance near a school, possession with intent to distribute a Schedule IV drug and resisting arrest around 12:15 a.m. on Feb. 14. Kinte Rasheen Byrd, 24, of 653 Blue Ridge Road, Union, was charged with possession of marijuana around 12:05 a.m. on Feb. 14. According to the incident report, officers were conducting a traffic stop and noticed a strong smell of marijuana coming from the vehicle in which Gallman was a passenger and Byrd was the driver. Gallman and Byrd were asked to step out of the car and around to the rear of the vehicle. When Gallman stepped out, he attempted to run away from officers and was taken down after a short scuffle. Both Gallman and Byrd were transported to Union County Jail.

— Lonnie Tremaine Mobley, 31, of 2110 West Springs Highway, Jonesville, was charged with driving under suspension around 2:24 p.m. on Feb. 13.

The Union County Sheriff’s Office reported the following incidents:

— A resident of Spartanburg Highway, Pacolet, reported on Feb. 13 that an attempted burglary had taken place at her neighbor’s residence. She told officers the subject left on foot, running away from the residence and getting into a white vehicle traveling toward Jonesville. Sheriff Taylor, investigators and K-9 officers were notified and responded to the scene, and the victim was notified and also responded. Damage to the window was estimated at $200. The investigation continues.

— A resident of Fairmont Street, Union, reported on Feb. 13 that someone hit her vehicle with a large rock while it was parked behind her residence. She stated the rock hit the windshield as well as the area between the windshield and driver’s side door. Officers valued the damage at around $800. The case was turned over to investigation.
