No greater love, no greater gift

The greatest love of all is God's love for us and because His love is so great, He sent His only begotten Son to die on the cross and not only to die on the cross but to take our sins upon Himself. From that day forward, the cross, that instrument of public humiliation, torture, and execution, became a constant reminder of God's love for us and what He and His Son did out of that love. In so doing, the cross, that dreadful instrument of death, became a symbol of the enduring goodness, love and mercy of God toward His wayward children and what He was willing to sacrifice and His Son endure for the salvation of those children.

Union County is sponsoring the Meansville Riley Water Company's application for a $350,000 grant through the South Carolina Rural Infrastructure Authority. The grant would enable the company to install approximately 31,000 linear feet of new water main on eight different roadways and improve water quality. If requested to do so, should the county sponsor more such grant applications by other local water companies?
