UNION — The last of six suspects named in the stabbing death of a Union man is now in custody.
Sheriff David Taylor announced that Marcos Antonio Ramirez, 22, 5018 Cross Keys Highway, Union, had surrendered to officers of the Rock Hill Police Department Thursday afternoon. Ramirez turned himself in after seeing himself as a wanted person on a Facebook social network site. Later in the afternoon, Taylor said Ramirez had been returned to Union County and was in jail.
Ramirez is charged with murder in the stabbing death of Ryan O. Allen in an incident that occurred in Monarch this past Saturday.
Also charged with murder in Allen’s death are Landon Blaine Turner, 25, 102 Spring St., Union; Kenneth Wayne Wynn, 20, 127 Grant Road, Union; and Michael Anthony Wynn, 21, 911 Beltline Road, Union. Charged with accessory to murder in the case are Tillia Dawn Wynn, 41, 127 Grant Road, Union; and James Hampton III, 28, 1207 W. Main St., Union.
Ramirez, Anythony Wynn, and Hampton are in the Union County Jail, while Turner is being held by Charlotte-Mecklenburg authorities in North Carolina and Kenneth and Tillia Wynn are being held in Halifax County, Virginia.
