UNION — Three overnight field trips for some Union County High School students were approved by the Union County Board of School Trustees Monday evening.
The field trip requests presented by Cindy Langley, director of secondary education, included:
• Twenty students attending the FFA (Future Farmers of America) Camp at Cherry Grove, June 17-21.
• Six students attending the FFA Convention at Clemson, June 12-14.
• Ten JROTC Cadets attending the Leadership Camp at Ft. Jackson, June 14-20.
Langley said that while all three field trips were overnight, the FFA Camp and Leadership Camp also involved water activities.
The board approved the field trip requests unanimously.
