The Union Public Safety Department reported the following arrests:
— David Terrell Gallman, 28, of 106 Harris Road, Union, was charged with trespassing around 10:45 a.m. on May 20. According to the arrest warrant, Gallman was on the property of Union Housing authority on May 18, after already being placed on written trespass notice.
— Kelvin Lamar Smith, 43, of 1208 West Main Street, Union, was charged with disorderly conduct around 9:40 p.m. on May 20.
The Union County Sheriff’s Office reported the following incidents:
— A resident of Johns Street, Union, reported that someone broke into his home while he was admitted to the hospital between May 13-20. Items missing include a Craftsman cordless hedge trimmer valued at $90, a Dell computer and keyboard valued at $250, a black and red mP3 player valued at $30, 25 Harley Davidson Motorcycles collectible gas tanks valued at $120, a pump pellet gun valued at $50, and a police baton with “CAI” engraving valued at $50. The case was turned over to investigation.
— A resident of Galilee Church Road, Union, reported the vandalism of a vehicle on May 20. The complainant stated a man left his pickup truck with him on May 16, and there was no damage to the truck. Around 9 a.m. May 20, he noticed every window had been broken, the truck bed and cab were dented in, the left tail light was broken, and the left front tire was flattened. Damage was estimated at $4,000.
— A resident of Old Shetley Place, Union, reported on May 20 that someone vandalized his work truck by breaking out the windshield and bending the driver’s side windshield back. Damage was estimated at $200.
— Officers responded to 129 Monarch Highway (Monarch Mill), Union, in reference to vandalism. The complainant stated that someone entered the property and spray painted graffiti on the back walls and structures of the plant some time between May 17-20.
