Library Hours

Monday – Friday 9 a.m. until 6 p.m.

Saturday – 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.

The library will be close Memorial Day, Monday, May 27, 2013.

Upcoming Events

Walk For A Book

The Annual Walk for a Book will be held Saturday, June 1. Participants will meet at the Union County Courthouse at 9 a.m. and walk to the Library.

Book Signing

Tony Brown, a native of Union, S.C. will be at the library to sign his book, Seven Stones High, on Tuesday, June 4 from 3:30-5:30 p.m.

July 15 — Movie Kids The Adventures of Tintin (rated PG) — 2-4 p.m.

July 18 — Teen Event — Beneath the surface teen makeover — 1-3 p.m.

Union County is sponsoring the Meansville Riley Water Company's application for a $350,000 grant through the South Carolina Rural Infrastructure Authority. The grant would enable the company to install approximately 31,000 linear feet of new water main on eight different roadways and improve water quality. If requested to do so, should the county sponsor more such grant applications by other local water companies?
