The Union Public Safety Department reported the following arrest:
— Timothy Tyrone Jeter, 39, of 175 Industrial Park Road, Union, was charged with disorderly conduct around 9:05 p.m. on April 23. According to the arrest warrant, Jeter became “loud and boisterous, using profane language” while at a neighbor’s apartment.
The Union Public Safety Department reported the following incident:
— A resident of Drugstore Street, Buffalo, reported on April 24 that a pistol was stolen from his vehicle’s glove compartment while he was at work. The gun is a Derringer Two Shot .357/.38 valued at $265. The case was turned over to investigations.
The Union County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrest:
— Miguel Verasaluce, 30, of 107 Corn St., Union, was charged with criminal domestic violence around 11 p.m. on April 24. According to the incident report, Verasaluce bit a woman on the lip, grabbed her by the arms, and struck her in the chin. He was transported to Union County Jail.
The Union County Sheriff’s Office reported the following incidents:
— A resident of West Springs Highway, Jonesville, reported on April 24 that her residence was broken into, and the following items were missing: a Ruger pistol valued at $300, a Remington 12-gauge shotgun valued at $500, several different prescription pill bottles, a camouflage bow and arrow valued at $500, a pair of diamond earrings valued at $1,200, a pair of diamond earrings valued at $100, a high school ring valued at $500, three 14-carrot gold charms, and several jars filled with coins. A K-9 unit was called to the scene, and the case is under investigation.
— A resident of Old Buncombe Road, Union, reported on April 24 that someone tried to break into her residence by cutting the screen to a window on the front porch. There were no signs that entry had been made, and nothing appeared to be missing.
