The Union Public Safety Department reported the following arrests:
— Kelly Lee Crawford, 31, of 121 Sullivan Circle, Union, was charged with two counts of shoplifting around 7 p.m. on March 20. According to arrest warrants, Crawford removed a Plantronics Bluetooth from its package, concealing it on his person while at Walmart, located at 513 N. Duncan Bypass in Union on March 10. Warrants also state Crawford removed 10 Lifeproof iPhone cases from their packages and concealed them on his person while at the same Walmart store on March 14.
— Freddie Danielle Moore, 28, of 224 Haywood Street, Buffalo, was charged with shoplifting, larceny and contributing to the delinquency of a minor around 6:55 p.m. on March 20. According to the incident report, Moore took numerous items out of Radio Shack, located at 410 N. Duncan Bypass, Union, without paying, and she enlisted the help of a child in doing so. Moore also took a cell phone belonging to a Radio Shack employee out of the store. The items taken from the store are valued at a total of $263.85. The cell phone taken from the store employee was valued at $799.99.
— David Alan Gowan, 29, of 1019 Meansville Road, Union, was charged with trespassing around 3:55 p.m. on March 20.
—Lashandra Jameka Means, 31, of 202 Pinetree Lane, Union, was charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana around 4:30 p.m. on March 19.
— Latoya Ann Alverson, 24, of 208 High Street, Spartanburg, was charged with possession of marijuana around 4:40 p.m. on March 19.
The Union County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests:
— Delvin Lejuan Young, 18, of 107 Hamlet St., Union, was charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana around 11:40 p.m. on March 19. According to the incident report, deputies executed a search warrant at Young’s residence and found around a half-ounce of marijuana, packaged in 12 small plastic bags. Young was transported to Union County Jail.
— Kimberly Ann Jennings, 49, of 305 W. South St., Union, was charged with disorderly conduct around 6:30 a.m. on March 20. According to the incident report, Jennings was intoxicated and refusing to leave Wallace Thomson Hospital. She was transported to Union County Jail.
— Phillip Elliot Ranson, 58, of 537 Wyatt Road, Spartanburg, was charged with driving under suspension around 8:30 a.m. on March 20. He was transported to Union County Jail.
— Sean Joseph Clark, 37, of 937 Main St., Buffalo, was charged with shoplifting around 10:44 p.m. on March 20. According to the incident report, Clark took two bottles of wine valued at $10 from Dollar General, located at 821 Main St., Buffalo.
The Union County Sheriff’s Office reported the following incidents:
— Deputies received reports of gunshots heard in the 200 and 300 blocks of Riley Road in Buffalo on March 21. Upon arrival, officers located four spent 9mm casings in the roadway. Officers also found a hole — which appeared to be fresh and consistent with a 9mm handgun round — in the stop sign at the intersection of Tempy Hill Road and Riley Road. The spent casings were taken as evidence, and dispatch was advised to notify the South Carolina DOT of the damage to the stop sign.
— A Greenville resident reported on March 21 that between March 10-18, someone stole the tag off his vehicle while it was parked on Buffalo West Springs Highway in Union. The tag number was entered into NCIC.
