The Union County boys tennis team opened the season with a 7-0 win over Laurens on Monday. Head Coach Tom Adamo was pleased with the team’s performance but said there are areas that still need improvement.
“I thought overall the kids played well, being the first match,” noted Adamo. “My main concern going in was inexperience and serving. I saw so many double-faults in practice and that’s just giving free points away. Everyone did pretty well serving but I seen a lot of things we definitely need to address and we will work hard in practice to improve.”
