Reid Walker (left) was recently inducted into the Athens Academy chapter of the National Honor Society.
ATHENS, GA — Athens Academy, a college preparatory school in Athens, GA, recently inducted Reid Walker (left), son of Mike and Martha Walker of Elberton, GA, along with 35 of his classmates, into the Athens Academy chapter of the National Honor Society at recent ceremonies on the school’s campus.
Walker, grandson of Mrs. William J. Whitener and the late Colonel Whitener of Union, and the late George and Anne Walker of Fall Branch, TN and great-grandson of Mrs. Alta Walker of Greeneville, TN, also plays baseball for the Spartans, was a percussionist in the school band, and is an associate editor for the Athens Academy newspaper, the Spartan Review.
