Joshua Neal Moore, 24, 270 Oakland Road, Lot 15, Union, is charged by the sheriff’s office with unlawful possession of prescription narcotics.
The incident report states a deputy observed a vehicle driving left of center at the intersection of Webber Lake Road and Brown’s Creek Road just after midnight Monday morning. The deputy stopped the car and noticed the odor of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle. He then asked the driver for permission to search the vehicle. Permission was granted but the deputy found nothing illegal in the car.
The deputy next asked Moore who’d been in the car, for consent to search his person and it was granted. The search turned up a small plastic Zip Loc bag contining 10 small, round, white pills with 627 on one side in Moore’s right front pants pocket. The report states Moore told the deputy the pills were Tramadol, a prescription medication. He also said he did not have a prescription.
Moore was then placed under arrest and transported to the Union County Jail. The driver of the vehicle was issued a warning for driving left of center and then released from the scene.
Criminal Domestic Violence
Two women and a man ended up in jail over the weekend for three separate incidents in which each allegedly attacked someone.
Amber Starr Dill, 19, 130 Pecan Drive, Jonesville, is charged by the sheriff’s office with criminal domestic violence.
The incident report states a deputy was dispatched to Dill’s residence shortly after 11 p.m. Friday in response to a report of a domestic dispute. When the deputy arrived, he was met by the victim who said that he and Dill had been arguing when she struck him twice in the right ear with her fist. The deputy questioned Dill who admitted to striking the victim twice in the head. She was placed under arrest and transported to jail.
Jeff Scott Henderson, 42, 1825 S. Jonesville Highway, Jonesville, is charged by the sheriff’s office with criminal domestic violence.
The victim contacted the sheriff’s office on Saturday and said that around 11 p.m. Friday night, Henderson got upset with her and started hitting her in the head with his fist and ripping her clothes off of her. She said she was unable to call 911 at the time and had to wait until the next morning when Henderson took her to work. The report states the victim showed signs of assault on her neck and jaw.
Henderson was taken into custody late Sunday night.
Wendy Yvonne Saulter, 48, 612 Lovers Lane Road, Union, is charged by the sheriff’s office with criminal domestic violence.
A deputy was dispatched to Saulter’s residence early Friday evening in response to a report of a domestic dispute. The victim told the deputy that he was sitting on the couch when Saulter came in yelling at him. He said they’d been arguing all day and that she’d been drinking. The victim said she took a a bowl of food and threw it at him, hitting him in the head.
The report states that the deputy observed a laceration on the victim’s forehead. Saulter was placed under arrest and transported to jail.
Incidents
Two incidents of malicious damage are being investigated by the sheriff’s office:
Vehicles Vandalized
A woman reported someone smashed in the back window of her car sometime between 2-8 a.m. Sunday while it was parked at her residence at 116 Magnolia Circle. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $400.
Another woman reported sometime between 5 p.m. Saturday and 8 a.m. Sunday someone scratched and wrote on her car with a sharp object while it was parked at 207 Road Drive. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $1,200.

The following persons were arrested by the sheriff’s office:
Paul Wayne Morris, 18, 11960 Highway 56, Cross Anchor, charged Saturday with carrying or concealing a weapon.
Delphia Ann Wicker, 42, 133 Brooklyn St., Carlisle, charged Friday with fraudulent check.
Angela Lynn Sulier, 38, 2229 Lockhart Highway, Union, charged Saturday with public drunk.
