Whitney Shetley led the Eagles’ scoring attack with 13 points and Bella Spencer netted 11 points. Elizabeth Spencer missed a double-double by one point as she netted nine points and pulled down 11 rebounds.
“Our ladies had a great game tonight; they played their usual unselfish basketball, and everyone contributed to this win,” Eagles head coach Tommy Mann said.
Boys fall 61-55
Union Christian could not survive a fourth-quarter run by Lake Pointe as the Eagles fell 61-55.
Eagles Leland Comtois posted a huge game in the loss as he grabbed 17 rebounds along with eight points and three blocks.
“Leland put up career numbers against guys much bigger than him, and I was proud of the way he played,” Mann said.
Grant Shetley had a team-high 22 points for the Eagles and Brandon Heatherly netted 21 points.
