The Union County girls basketball team wrapped up holiday tournament play on Saturday, defeating Camden, 52-42 for third place in the Home Pest Control Holiday Tourney in Columbia. Point guard, Kristin Giles was named to the all-tournament team. The Lady Jackets head into region play with a 8-3 record.
The Union County boys team dropped a 70-50 loss to Barbourville, Kentucky on Saturday. The Jackets led after two quarters and trailed by just three points heading into the fourth frame.
Both teams open the region at Chapman on Friday.
