Union County’s Varsity volleyball team defeated Chester Wednesday night, taking all three matches; 25-12, 25-19, and 25-17.

The JV team came up short in their match-up with the Woodruff on Thursday, losing both games; 20-25, 4-25. Coach Sherry Jackson said it didn’t look like the same team she’d been coaching.
“I don’t know what happened,” said Jackson. “We did not get a single serve to go in.”
Jackson added that she expects a much better showing on Monday when the Jackets face Mid-Carolina at home.
