BOILING SPRINGS — The Sims volleyball team lost a heartbreaking match to Boiling Springs on Monday, 3-0.

In the first game, the Tigers led 8-0 before, according to coach Tracy Duncan, mental mistakes kicked in.

In an intense game two, Sims fell 25-22.

“Amanda Hendrix played a great defensive game,” said Duncan. “Alex Byers served really well for us along with Tayler Stines. Caylee Austin made some great defensive digs.”

In the third game, the Tigers were defeated, 27-25.

“Sklyin Morris played aggressive at the net and had several kills,” said Duncan. “Even though the Lady Tigers gave up this match, it was the best they have played all year. Very intense, very aggressive. Way to go girls.”

With the loss, Sims falls to 0-3 in the Peachtree Conference.
