To the editor:
Just over two years ago, I had the pleasure of meeting Sheriff David Taylor at the FBI’s National Academy in Quantico, Va. Sheriff Taylor and I became good friends over the 10 weeks we spent at the training facility and I learned that he was very dedicated to his job and to the citizens of Union County.
During our session at the FBI National Academy, Sheriff Taylor would often take time away from his intense studies to accept phone calls from members of his office to handle the county’s business while being hundreds of miles away. It is this type of dedication and personal attention to his job that makes him the most qualified person in this race to be your sheriff.
I encourage the citizens of Union County to reelect Sheriff David Taylor.
