Sis was leaving Wal-Mart one day after a long day of shopping. Two masked men approached her and told her to put her hands up so they could search her. After searching her they only found three dollars.

One crook said to Sis, “You mean after all of this work searching you, you only have three dollars?”

How To Stay Healthy

This time of the year so much sickness is being passed around from one to another. By now you know that frequently washing your hands with good old soap for 20 to 25 seconds is the first line of defense against germs that lead to illness. Here are other ways to help you fight the good fight.

Regularly disinfect the kitchen sink, the trash can, the bathroom faucet, and the tub. They’re some of the germiest places in a home, according to studies.

The champion of contamination? The kitchen sponge. Clean it in the dishwasher weekly.

Take a brisk walk five times a week. Studies show that regular exercise can help reduce your likelihood of catching a cold.

Work probiotics (a.k.a. good bacteria) into your daily diet to help your immune system ward off bad bacteria. Try yogurt, fortified drinks or liquid probiotics.

Christmas is coming, better get ready. Be sure to put Christ in Christmas as well as some good Hot Chocolate, Mistletoe, Family and Friends.

Decorating Trees

This holiday season, when you hang the lights on your tree, the crossing strands form a wire net that’s so hard to remove. But there’s a solution: The trick is to go up and down, not around and around. Divide the tree vertically into three sections and string lights by section.

Plug the lights in before you begin, to weed out defective strands. Leave them plugged in as you place them so you can spot dark spaces in the tree.

Beginning at the bottom, weave each string in and out of the branches, to the top of the tree and back. Happy decorating, my friends.
