Lockhart girls 2nd in tourney

The Lockhart Middle School girl's basketball team placed second Tuesday in the Pacolet Invitational Tournament.

Lockhart lost to tournament winner Sanders, 29-17.

Andrea Nash led the team with 7 points; Maleah Adams had 5 points.

“Our girls played with a lot of heart,” coach Jay Voiselle said. “They played very physical and I am extremely proud of them.”

On Monday, Lockhart came away victorious with a win last night over Pacolet, 17-14. 

Nash led the Red Devils with 9 points. Rebekah Bishop had 6 points; Adams had 2 points. 

The Lockhart Middle School boys lost to Pacolet 47-11.  The LMS boys played Jonesville Tuesday in the consolation round, but the score was unavailable.
