LANCASTER — The Union County softball team went 5-0 at the Lancaster County Classic Invitational Softball Tournament this past weekend.

Peyton Martin pitched a perfect game against Lancaster in a 2-0 win on Friday night to get the Jackets off to a solid start. Hannah Sailors hurled a one-hitter in the second game against Rock Hill and allowed just two hits in the third game when the Jackets defeated Central 7-3. Martin was back on the mound for the 4-1 win against Andrew Jackson as well as the championship game where Union County claimed a 5-1 win over Buford. Abby Allen went 2-3 in the tournament finale with a homerun and an RBI. Ashley Vinson was 2-2 with an RBI.
