A 15-year-old boy is charged by the public safety department with assault and battery third-degree after he allegedly attacked another boy as they were leaving class.
The incident report states a substitute teacher told the responding officer that at the end of first period as the students were leaving the classroom, the 15-year-0ld suddenly pushed the victim against the wall and starting hitting him both hands. She said she told the 15-year-old to stop and he did and she then called an administrator.
The 15-year-old was taken into custody and transported to the public safety department where he was later released into the custody of his grandmother.
The report states the victim did not require medical attention.
Assault And Battery
Another 15-year-old is charged by the public safety department with assault and battery after he allegedly attacked another boy while standing outside their school.
The incident report states that on Oct. 24, the 15-year-old became upset with a student standing next to him and began to have words with him. He then began to throw punches at the other student, hitting him in the mouth and causing his lip to bleed.
The 15-year-0ld was charged the following day.

A Union woman ended up in jail after she allegedly attacked a man.
Judy Lynn Daniels, 34, 246 Philippi Church Road, Union, is charged by the public safety department with assault and battery.
The warrant for Daniels’ arrest states that on Oct. 29 while at 719 N. Duncan Bypass, Union, she grabbed the victim around the throat and poked him in the face with her finger.
Daniels was taken into custody Wednesday.

Paul David Thomas, 37, 5018 Cross Keys Highway, Union, charged Thursday with disorderly conduct.
Christopher Thomas Dudley, 23, 117 W. Main St., Union, charged Wednesday with petit larceny.
Frederick Neal Fleming, 47, 317 S. Mountain St., Union, charged Wednesday with trespass after notice.
Jason Scott Brannon, 29, 297 Center Road, Union, charged charged Wednesday with obtaining by false pretense third or subsequent offense.
A 16-year-old juvenile charged Oct. 31 with petit larceny.
Susan Joanne Lively, 40, 134 W. Main St., Union, charged Oct. 31 with two counts of shoplifting.
Charles Johnathan Maness, 17, 520 Lakeview Heights, Union, charged Oct. 30 with malicious damage to property.
