ROCK HILL — An employee with 26 years experience in banking is now vice president of Provident Community Bank.
Provident Chief Retail Officer Lisa Morris announed Tuesday that Emma Garner, Banking Center Sales Manager for the bank’s Duncan Bypass Banking Center, has been promoted to vice president. Morris said that as vice president Garner will continue to serve as the center’s sales manager with responsibility for the operational management of the office as well as assisting with the bank’s growth and development in Union County. She said that Garner, a native of Union County, brings to the position 26 years of experience with the bank having served as teller, head teller, loan processor, and collections manager during the course of her career.
“We are excited to promote Emma Garner to Vice President of Provident Community Bank,” Morris said. “Emma offers outstanding client care and has built many loyal banking relationships during her time with Provident. She excels in the role of Banking Center Sales Manager and always looks for ways to enhance the client’s overall experience. Garner said she is looking forward to continuning to serve the people of Union County at Provident as she has for the past 26 years.
